 MY REVIEW

I had many expectations in the book while I started reading it. After finished with the first chapter, it didn’t hold my enthusiasm any further. The plot of each story is vague and predictive. Maybe it’s my fault to expect hardcore thriller from a children’s book!. Alike other Ruskin Bond works, he well portrayed the exquisite allure of nature. Simple language and an easy read. I liked the stories “The black dog” and “Three in a bed”, because of a horror facet in it. A light treated thriller short stories, I recommend this book to children above 12. Overall, the book is not so fascinating.

MY RATING:

3 OUT OF 5 STARS
