Hello guys, today I will give you 5 tips to stay positive. These 5 ways worked for me well, so I thought why don’t just share with you guys? So here are my 5 tried and tested tips to happiness:

1. Talk good Think good!

Yeah, I know what you are thinking right now, “She gonna say all those cliched advice”. The fact is no matter how many times we repeat things it would never get irrelevant, so that applies with this as well. Always choose wisely, whether it is a product, a service or even a friend. Because at the end of the day you should get a positive impact from it. If you are in a circle of friends or colleagues or even family members try to engage in good conversations, not one that makes you feel low, under-confident, and worthless. Try to avoid conversations that would make a negative impact on you, or I would say avoid those frivolous talks that give no joy.

Always find ways to be happy and content. When your circle has a bunch of happy people, your way of thinking would also change. According to a study happy people, as compared to not-so-happy people, tend to have greater immunity and reduced risk of cardiovascular disease. So why would you want to be unhappy?

2. Always Smile!

Being able to smile is the only quality god reserved for humans. To stretch that lip portion of yours take no effort, then why are you so serious? Smile anytime every time, no one wants to see an unhappy face but a pleasant one. And here is a secret to enhance your beauty, smile! No need for any Korean mask or Argon oil, just smile.

Like Priyanka Chopra said “wear your confidence”, I would add one more, wear a smile too. When you smile at people or when they see your smiling face, they will just reciprocate the same. It boosts up the positivity in you as well as in others. Smiling is contagious, so be a virus that spread the smile around.

3. Read Quotes By Famous Personalities!

Now, why do you have to read quotes from famous people? Famous people are those who have been gone through a hard situation with a positive attitude. That makes them great and unique from others. So knowing what they have done while having faced setbacks and failures in life, you need to know them. So those who love to read autobiographies go for it, and those who find them boring, read quotes.

I have a few personal favourites and would love to share with you. Here are those:

1. “It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop.”- Confucius

2. “Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.”- Winston Churchill

3. “Opportunities don’t happen. You create them.” – Chris Grosser
“It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” – Charles Darwin

4. “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” – Mahatma Gandhi

5. “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” – Thomas Edison

6. “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

7. “Failure is another steppingstone to greatness.” – Oprah Winfrey

8. “The difference between winning and losing is most often not quitting.” – Walt Disney

9. “I believe every human has a finite number of heartbeats. I don’t intend to waste any of mine.” -Neil Armstrong

10. “The biggest risk is not taking any risk… In a world that’s changing quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.” – Mark Zuckerberg

11. “We become what we think about most of the time, and that’s the strangest secret.” – Earl Nightingale

12. “The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary.” – Vidal Sassoon

13. “We are what we repeatedly do; excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.” —Aristotle

14. “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” – Thomas A. Edison

15. “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” -Robert Louis Stevenson

16. “When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.” – Helen Keller

17. “Man needs his difficulties because they are necessary to enjoy success.” – A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

18. “Happiness is not something readymade. It comes from your actions.” – Dalai Lama

4. Read Books!

Being a book blogger, I can’t advocate enough how important is reading in your life. To open up yourself, to widen your horizon of thinking you need to read. Reading will help you change the way you think. You will be able to start thinking from another person’s perspective.

Think yourself, what is the basis of any problem that exists in our society? Because no one is ready to be in other’s shoes. So when you read, you become more considerate, become more humane. No books in this world are bad, every book has something to tell you whether it is about human relationships or emotions. Before getting into rocket science everyone needs to know themselves and others. Like fresh air and water, empathy is also fast depleting from this world.

When you become more aware of other fellow beings, half of the problems will be solved. I want to recommend a few books you should read:

1. A man called Ove

2. The Book Thief

3. A thousand splendid suns

4. The diary of a young girl

5. Life of Pi

5. Breath in Breath out!

Have you ever felt your breathing? Does this sound weird to you? Try now, stop reading from here, just close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing. Okay, now, did you feel calm and peaceful? You might be! Whenever a negative situation arrives, you have to do the same. Being tensed doesn’t make any difference to your problem. All you have to do is soothe down yourself and think about how I can overcome this situation. I guarantee you every problem has great solutions, only for those who seek it.
